The UEWM library has two sections: an English section and a Chinese section, collectively housing over 3,260 books. Periodicals, slides, charts, audio-visual materials as well as human anatomy models are additional resources available in the UEWM library. It employs Oasis automated library system for cataloging and circulation.

The library assets include text and academic papers on both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medical Sciences. The library reading area is fully equipped with on-line computers that are available for student and faculty use.

The San Jose Public Library has merged with San Jose State University with main branch on Campus at 150 E. San Fernando Street, San Jose, Ca is reachable by public transportation. The public library card allows one to check out both San Jose City and California State at San Jose collections. It has over 1,000,000 titles. The Planetree Health Library, located at 15891 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, Los Gatos, Ca., contains over 2500 books on health related subjects, including medical texts and interactive CDs which are readily available to public. The Planetree Library is readily accessible by public transportation from UEWM.

Computer stations with Internet access are available in the UEWM library reading area for students and faculty use. Please consult with the librarian or staff on computer hours and limit. There are paid print stations for student.
