The University of East-West Medicine offers degree and non-degree certificate studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Tai chi and Asian Bodywork Therapy (ABT). The program we provide borrows treasures from the rich heritage of China Chinese medicine as well as modern western medical sciences. Our curriculum not only respects this unique system of health-care, but also recognizes the need to maintain its long history of experimentation and research. Following the lead of prestigious medical schools in China today, we have integrated modern and traditional science and medicine in our curriculum.

With a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM), you may choose to be your own boss by running your private practice or work in hospitals, community health centers, or extended health care facilities. Y ou will have the capacity to live a well-balanced life as well as the knowledge to improve your family’s health.
The Master's of Tai Chi provides graduate-level preparation to a variety of practitioners of martial arts, all Tai-chi stylists, professional fitness trainers,physical therapists, Physical Education teachers, and sports coaches. Graduates will be able to develop andpresent community programs in community centers, senior centers, adulteducation schools, community colleges, fitness centers, hospitals, hotels, andindustry. They can recommend exercisesto alleviate a number of common physical ailments. They will also have the skills to manage events which presentmartial arts in general and Tai-chi in particular to the public. Graduates will benefit their communities byexposing the general public and martial arts students to the physical, social,and health benefits of Tai-chi. Thedegree may also qualify graduates to teach in institutions of higher education.
With a certificate in Asian Bodywork Therapy, you may choose to launch your own business or practice in a chiropractic office, hospital, athletic club, spa, resort, cruise ship, therapy center, or any number of other venues. With a large number of selections of certification programs, continuing education courses and workshops in holistic health care, as well as seminars on personal growth, we welcome the general public as well as students who are seeking to refresh their skills or gain new perspectives.

The style of the university buildings with pavilion gate and garden belongs to the classic Chinese architecture. The Feng Shui design provides comfortable study environment for students. The university facilities include lecture classrooms, teaching clinic, library, herbal pharmacy, bookstore, administrative offices and lounges for faculty and students. The library has a Mandarin-Chinese section and an English section, with a total of 2,000 volumes of Chinese and English medical publications. Also available in the library for students and faculty are videos, slides, and other study-aids.
